Starbucks Adverts Analysis

This picture is advertising Starbucks, the slogan in the picture could mean that, if you drink Starbucks coffee it's "For the best of YOU".  Also the word you is in capitals and in a different colour; this could mean it is aiming directly at the audience. The camera uses  a shallow focus; this is where the background of the picture is out of focus and the object they are focusing on is in focus. To do this you need to use Shallow Focus Wide Aperture  - Small F Stop setting. The picture uses the rule of 3rds because the Starbucks cup is not in the middle it's on the bottom left because that's where the 2 lines on the grid meet on the camera.

This picture is advertising Starbucks ice cream. This picture uses the rule of thirds because the object is not in the middle it's on the left; this gives more room for the slogan. The slogan might mean to bring a friend to boost the business and attract more and more people, also the picture has a "Share Now" button; this is advertisement, because Starbucks are giving the public an opportunity to share their ideas and products. The shot used in this picture is a long shot. The reason for this is so that the person looking at this picture can see that the ice cream is "Caramel Macchiato" and they can also see the Starbucks logo, so this shot gives the viewer a better view about the product.
The picture is saying that Starbucks are giving out free cups of latte. The advert is trying to convince customers to come to Starbucks because they are giving out free stuff. The camera effect used in this advertisement is a Shallow focus Wide Aperture - Small F Stop, because the background is out of focus and the main thing the photographer is focusing on is in focus and very clear. Also the cups are set out in a way where it looks presentable, and so that the person looking at this picture can see all the detail about the main thing it is focused on.

This is a picture of a Starbucks mug and a packet coffee. This is showing the customers that Starbucks sell coffee and it shows them in a clear and easy way, also the background is a coffee bag so basically the influence of coffee is used all over this picture. The camera effect used in this picture is called Fast shutter speed, this is where you take a picture at something moving and because the camera uses a fast shutter speed the thing what is moving comes out clearly, this is what the photographer has done with the steam coming off the coffee, this makes the coffee look warm and refreshing.
The slogan on this picture is telling the viewer that Starbucks always thinks about the customers and having good coffee. The words "WE PROMISE" stand out in this picture, this means that they mean it the most because they want to make sure that customers trust them for what they do. On the right side of the picture the coffee packet is shown, this is saying to customers that you can take Starbucks coffee home and have it at home, so that people can have Starbucks coffee anywhere they go.

This picture is advertising food at Starbucks. This is saying to viewers that Starbucks don't just sell coffee they sell food as well. Plus the advert says you can get a Breakfast Sandwich or Wrap for $2; this means that there is a deal with every beverage you purchase. The camera effects used in this picture is another Shallow Focus Wide Aperture  - Small F Stop, because the bacon sandwich is in focus and the Starbucks coffee is out of focus but only a bit because you can still see the Starbucks logo, but it's not as clear as the bacon sandwich. The slogan on the advert is saying that this smoked bacon is addicting because it says "you'll never want to start you day without applewood smoked bacon", so this is saying to the customers that their bacon is nice and addictive.

This is a picture of an igloo in a cold area. When you look at the entrance of the igloo it looks inviting and it also looks warm inside, this is trying to say that Starbucks look warm and inviting; that's what they do to attracted customers to come to Starbucks. The slogan in the pictures says "Enjoy to the world" this could mean that Starbucks are eco friendly because they enjoy the world. The camera shot used in this picture is a long shot this shows the viewer the setting and also the whole igloo, it also has a bit of motion blur because there is a white line going around the igloo which could be the cold, the reason why the photographer uses motion blur it shows the cold come in every direction.
